Aunt Helen's Macaroni Salad

My 82 year old Aunt Helen has been making the best macaroni salad for the past 60 years. She has never used a recipe, just puts in a little of this and a little of that until according to her "it just tastes right." Since she made the drive to my parents house for Thanksgiving, we finally forced her to make the macaroni salad while Mom and I watched and measured everything she put in the bowl. Here's the recipe - it is incredibly good!

1 pound box macaroni
2 Cups Mayonaise
3/4 Cup Miracle Whip
4 tsp Mustard
1/8 Cup Sugar
2 Tblsp Apple Cider Vinegar
4oz jar Pimentos (drained)
1 Cup Celery (finely diced)
1/4 Cup Shredded Carrot
7 Hard Boiled Eggs (chopped)

Cook the Macaroni according to package directions - be sure to add salt to the water. Combine the Mayonaise, Miracle Whip, Mustard, Sugar, and Vinegar in a small bowl. Pour over cooked pasta, then add remainder of ingredients, salt and pepper.
